This course is aimed at all staff who support residents/clients with day to day meaningful activities.

Description

Course Content

It supports delegates to clearly understand what constitutes activies and looks at innovative ways to plan, design and embed these into day to day care and support provided. It also supports delegates to capture the outcomes of activities so as to better support an enhanced quality of life for people supported.

The course includes:

  • Explores of innovative ways to identify activities which are meaningful, and individualised, whilst maintaining a watchful approach to costs
  • Explores ways to carry out individualised activities within a group setting
  • Supports to identify how to plan, design and embed a whole staff approach to activities in a meaningful way
  • Supports delegates to capture evidence of activities which demonstrate clear outcomes against the inspection requirements

Booking Details

Duration:    1 day (6 hours)

Delegates:   Up to 12

Assessment:  Ongoing observation and end of session activity. Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Cost: Competitively priced and details are available upon request.

Requirements:  In order to gain the most out of the sessions, we request that the delegates remain on the course throughout and, where possible, a quiet area be allocated to save distraction.
