The Care and Support Planning course is aimed at all staff who have the responsibility of caring for and supporting clients.

Course Content
This course looks at a variety of care and support plans, why they should be accurate and updated regularly, including the skills required to do so. It also looks at how to create a care plan, including the various stages and assessment process as well as working as a team to provide a seamless service that provides person-centred care and support to the client.
The course covers:
- Care Planning and its importance
- Meeting CQC requirements
- Understanding and meeting the requirements of the Care Act
- Understanding Person Centred Care
- A holistic approach to care
- How to create, maintain and update care plan
- Maintaining confidentiality.

Delegates: Up to 12
Assessment: Ongoing observation and end of session Activity. Each delegate will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Requirements: In order to gain the most out of the sessions, we request that the delegates remain on the course throughout and, where possible, a quiet area be allocated to save distraction.
